Today we learned the importance of having standard units of measurement. We learned the difference in nonstandard units (paper clips, cubes, etc) and standard units (inches, centimeters, etc).
This week and next week, we will learn to measure length using customary and metric units. Here are a few snapshots of us exploring nonstandard units today!
